Rescue Bunny of the Month
Basam
A sweet young little bunny was dropped at the rescue in a cardboard crisp box one late night in February, after having been bought for a young child for Christmas. Pets at Risk, at it again! Selling a baby rabbit only for them to be abandoned a mere 2 months later.
We named him Basam, meaning "he who smiles" as we will make sure he will only ever smile from now on. After arriving slightly unsure and worried, he has been finding his feet and already done his first binky. He is a loving and playful little bun who loves to chew, so if you have any willow balls, send some his way as he is going through one a day currently!
Basam has been now neutered and vaccinated, and we are running a fundraiser to help recoop these vet costs. He will be ready and available for adoption from mid March once he has fully recovered and completed all of his assessments. Keep an eye for his profile!
